Abrouz beach

Abrouz is a beach in the north-east of Marmara Adasi island, Turkey. In fact, these are two different beaches divided into three zones: general, family (aka "Islamic beach") and "women only" beach. So everybody can find a suitable option. There is also a free shower, toilet, playground and even a prayer's room. As for the beach itself, it is good enough, but not outstanding. There are many trees ashore, while entry into the water is smooth. So this is a good place to try an island' beach holiday in the Sea of Marmara. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Istanbul international airport (IST). Next get by bus or take a taxi to Erdek town, and get by ferry to Marmara port.
