Acar beach

Acar is a beach in the south of Marmara Sea, Turkey. The coastline is narrow, but very scenic. There is a beautiful promenade with trees and palms. Entry into the water is smooth, while there are no strong waves. There is also sunbeds rental, as well as cafes. So this is a great place to relax on weekend. Shore and seabed: sand, pebbles. [edit]

Acar beach hotels are not presented in international booking systems. However, there are several guesthouses here. There is also a good choice of hotels (from US$100) in the port town of Bandirma located a little to the south.

Fly to Istanbul international airport (IST). Next get by bus or take a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Turkey is a warm period from June to September.
