Aganoa beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Aganoa is a resort beach in the southeast of
Savaii island, Samoa. This is a perfect tropical paradise - with palms, white sand, comfortable swimming and good snorkeling. Good surfing is also possible nearby, but for experienced persons only. Please note, that a little further to the north, there is a wild beach of Aganoa, which has nothing common with the hotel. Aggressive locals take decent money as an "entry fee" to pass there (no certain fare). But wild beach is not as beautiful as hotel beach, and it is full of garbage. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Aganoa Lodge Samoa is a three-star property with rooms' rates starting from US$300 per night. Actual prices can be found on their website:
pegasuslodges.com. In fact, this is just an advanced surf camping. But price tag is more like an upscale resort. It's quite ridiculous, since their rooms are outdated, while there is almost no real surf service.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Apia international airport (APW). Next fly to
Savaii-Maota Airport (MXS).
