Al Aqah beach

Al Aqah is a popular beach resort destination located to the north of Fujairah, UAE. This is an upscale spot made of expensive beachfront hotels only. Usually when we talk about the great beaches of Fujairah, this is exactly that place. There is an excellent swimming, while the snorkeling is also good in occasional areas. Le Meridien beach has most of palms. There are many water activities. So sometimes it smells gasoline. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

InterContinental Fujairah IHG, Le Méridien Al Aqah, Miramar Al Aqah and Fujairah Rotana are 5-star resorts with rooms's fares starting from US$200 per night. All of these are very good by any standards, - not limited to InterContinental or Le Méridien only. However, average price tag is also quite the same.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Dubai international airport (DXB) or fly to Sharjah international airport (SHJ). Next get to Fujairah by taxi (1.5 hours) or by bus (longer, but much cheaper).

When to go [edit]

In Fujairah, sea water is warmer during summer half of the year. But on the other hand, it is not so hot during winter half of the year.
