Amilla Fushi is a private island in
Baa Atoll, Maldives. All of the beaches are excellent and quite different from each other. There are areas with palms - more looking like the Caribbean, while other coast has a lot of bush, - which is more typical for the Maldives. Entry into the water is sandy, but soon you'll find coral gardens with excellent snorkeling. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Amilla Fushi is an upscale five-star resort remarkable for its villas with modern design. This is a strange concept more appropriate somewhere in California, but not in the Maldives. Room's design is also rather minimalistic, which is not very cozy. However, many people like it.
All the rooms are huge with a minimum fare of US$1000 per night. But realistic price for the most dates start from US$1900. You should understand, that for that money there are much better options in the Maldives. The main thing about this island is a superb beach, but not a luxury.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a seaplane, which flies about half an hour.
Alternatively, you may take a regular domestic flight to the island of
Dharavandhoo (20 minutes per way), and then take a 15-minutes journey by the hotel's speedboat.
In any case, the total cost of transfer from Male to Amilla Fushi and back will be US$620 per adult and US$360 for a child 2-11 years old. Infants travel for free.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the Maldivian island of Amilla Fushi is a dry season in the winter half of the year. The summer time is good as well, but you should be ready for the fact that, it will be maximum three sunny days per week.
