Andhakaranazhi is a popular beach located to the south of Kochi in Kerala state, India. It is a pleasant place with sandbanks, where Cherthala River flows into the Indian Ocean. The swimming is possible. However, this place is more suitable for walking. During the weekends, there are usually a lot of people, as well as a lot of garbage. There is no shower. While toilet doesn't work. In addition, during the high tide, sea water comes close to the stones protecting from coastal erosion. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
