Anse des Iles beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Anse des Iles is a small beach in the east of
Anse du Vieux Fort bay, Basse Terre island,
Guadeloupe. Compared to the neighboring coast, this is a rather depressing place. All coastal vegetation is trampled, the sand is dark with snags, and there are just a few trees. If you get here, most likely you'll wish to run away and never come back. Strange, but there are a lot of visitors. Probably, this is due to the parking lot located just nearby. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
