Mahe island in the Seychelles. The beach is beautiful and deserted. But it is often unsuitable for swimming due to the strong waves. Shore and seabed: sand.

There is the only an expensive hotel on the beach. There's no reason to settle here. You may choose any hotel in Mahe island and ride here by bus.
