Hotels [edit]

There are only few hotels near the beach. However, you can choose any hotel in the northwestern part of Praslin island, and get to the beach by taxi.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Mahe Island International Airport (SEZ). Next take a ferry to Praslin island. There are also flights between Mahe and Praslin (PRI) islands. We don't recommend ferry, as it always sea sick when sail between Mahe and Praslin.

The beach itself is best reached by rented car or by taxi. If you decide to try the bus, prepare for the following. First, you'll wait for a long time at the bus stop. Then you'll have to walk through the hills about 20 minutes. However, the views are beautiful. On the way back it gets worse. Most of time you will walk uphill, and you will wait even longer at the bus stop (sometimes up to an hour).

The best time to visit Praslin island is a dry season from March to September. However, it's very cloudy in August.
