Ao Phrao beach

Ao Phrao is a beach in the south of Koh Kood island in Thailand. Many years ago it was the best one in Koh Kood - long and deserted with lots of palms. However, developers started to build hotels, so now Ao Prao has lost its former uniqueness. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

The main hotels in Ao Prao beach are For Rest Boutique House, Ao Phrao Beach Resort and Sunshine Resort. All of these are cozy with excellent beach bungalows.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Trat - by the taxi, or by bus, or by plane. Next take a ferry to the Koh-Kut island. There are direct ferry services from Trat, as well as connecting routes via Ko-Chang and/or Koh-Mak. Next hire a taxi ot take a tuk-tuk.

The best time for a beach holiday in Ao Phrao of the Koh Kut island is a dry season from November to March.
