Aroa beach

Aroa is a nice beach in the southwest of Rarotonga island, Cook Islands. There are a lot of palms, the sand is white, while entry into the water is mostly sandy with a comfortable depth. The snorkeling on the house reef is also excellent, - probably the best on the island. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Sanctuary Rarotonga on the Beach is a 4-star hotel (adults only) with rooms' rates starting from US$200 per night. The hotel is decent enough. But value for money is not so good, - even by the standards of Rarotonga.

Fly to Rarotonga international airport (RAR), and next get by bus or hire a taxi.

The best time to relax on Aroa beach is a dry season from May to November.
