Arthur Bay is a secluded beach on the east of
Magnetic Island in Australia. The main features are clear water and stunning mountain scenery. By the way, there is a good view to this beach from the hill hosting The Fort. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Near the Arthur Bay there is a small hotel. It is poorly presented in the international booking systems. But in most cases, you won't wish to spend a night on this beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Townsville international airport (TSV). Next take a bus to the stop
"Flinders St at Wickham Street" (routes 200, 201, 206).
From
Townsville Breakwater marina take a ferry to
Nelly Bay of the Magnetic island. Next take a bus #250 to the stop
Horseshoe Bay Rd at The Forts. Next walk about 600 meters. Please note, that the road back will be much harder, as you'll have to walk up the mountain.

The best time to visit the beach of Arthur Bay in Magnetic Island is a dry season from April to November.
