Asante Sana beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Asante Sana is a small beach in the northwest of
Zanzibar island, Tanzania. Everything is pretty nice ashore, but there are stones only in the water. There is also problem of strong low tides being typical for the island. As a result, the beach is totally unsuitable for swimming. The good news is a live baobab piled up on the sand in the south end of the beach. This is quite unique for the whole coast of Zanzibar. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
