Asau beach
Ultimate guide (April 2025)
Asau is a beach in the south of Asau Bay in
Savaii island, Samoa. The beach is small, but beautiful. Swimming is comfortable, even though sea bottom is mostly rocky. Since it is an almost closed lagoon, there are never strong waves. Snorkeling is not so good. However, you can kayak to an uninhabited islet with great snorkeling in the north of lagoon. Shore and seabed: rocks, sand.

Hotels [edit]
Va-i-moana Seaside Lodge is a guesthouse with rooms' rates starting from US$80 per night. The hotel is outdated, but still relatively good for the money. Anyway, this is a great opportunity to stay right on the beach, if you are on a limited budget.
How to get there [edit]
