Atlantis is the most famous beachfront resort near the
Nassau island, Bahamas. In reality it's more like a luxury water park with everything one can imagine. There are Mayan pyramid, own Taj Mahal, swimming pools wuth huge fishes, water attractions, children playgrounds and many beaches - both oceanfront and in the inner lagoon. It is definetely worth to visit. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Atlantis Paradise Island is an upscale resort with rooms' fares from $500 to $25,000 per night. If it is too expensive for you, it is possible to pay $50 per person to spend a day in the hotel's area.
The property is overpriced and overcrowded by daily guests from cruise liners. The service and food are not so good, as you could expect from luxury property. In fact you just pay for a huge territory with great amenities.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Nassau international airport (NAS) or get by cruise ship from
West Palm Beach. Next take a taxi.
There are many cheap flights to Nassau from USA and from Canada, uncluding low cost airniles. So it makes no sense to take ferry from Fort Lauderdale to Bahamas.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Paradise Island is a dry season in the winter half of the year. As for the summer time, sea water is much warmer, it's no so crowdy and all kinds of costs are cheaper.
