Bahia Inglesa beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Bahia Inglesa is the best beach in Chile. It's located on the edge of the great Atacama Desert. The coastal rocks make several lagoons with azure water looking like the Caribbean. In addition, protected shallow water warms up enough, that is quite unique for the western coast of America being totally washed by cold currents. There are few delicious restaurants. In addition, you can explore some nearby beaches being much less crowded. Sometimes there is a problem of coastal cleanups, but in general everything is very nice. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
