Baia di Campi is a beach at the east end of the Gargano National Park, Italy. The place is picturesque - overlooking the islands and the mountains. The water is perfectly clear, since the bottom is pebbly. However, there are also small beach areas with patches of sand. In the north, there is a cafe and sunbeds rental, but nothing works in September. There are a lot of people most of time, but you can walk aside to find a relatively uncrowded spot. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand.

Hotels [edit]
Baia Di Campi is an upscale camping - very good, but expensive as well. But anyway this is a good options, as they have almost exclusive access to such an outstanding beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Bari airport (BRI). Get by the local train to
Manfredonia station. Next get by taxi about 40 km to the north-east.
If you are not a camping guest, the only way to the beach is a dangerous mountain trail bypassing the camping. This is ridiculous.
Moreover, some strange persons charge 5 euros for parking at the edge of the road! And after all of this, you'll have to pay 30-40 euros state penalty for improper parking.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Baia di Campi is a warm period in the summer half of the year.
