Baie Cipailles is a wild beach in the north-east of
Silhouette Island, Seychelles. This is the canonical Seychelles beach - with large boulders and palms. There are occasional tourists though. So you should not be afraid of being completely alone. The swimming is not quite comfortable due to the rocky bottom. But if you walk a little, it is still possible to find sandy swimming areas. The house reef offers good snorkeling, while it is partially exposed during the low tide. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels near the beach of Baie Cipailles. However, a little to the south, there is
Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa with rooms' rates starting from US$500 per night. You can also find some cheaper options further to the south, - still within a walking distance. All the beaches in Seychelles are public. So non-guests may walk through the Hilton Resort, - but only along the water's edge.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Seychelles international airport (SEZ). Next get by the standard ferry, which runs several times a day between the islands of Mahe and Silhouette.
When to go [edit]
Feel free to travel to Seychelles any time of year. The nature is more beautiful in the rainy season from October to April. While the dry season will give you more sunny days.
