Baie Lazare public beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Baie Lazare is a beach in the southwest of
Mahe island, Seychelles. In a walking distance to the west, there is also small separate beach called
Anse Gouvernement. The views are scenic everywhere. There are mostly trees, but few palms are also available. The main problem is that sea bottom is mostly rocky. So the snorkeling is very good, but the swimming is not quite comfortable. In addition, this place is located far from most popular island's attractions. However, you can get everywhere by cheap local buses. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Kempinski Seychelles Resort is a great five-star property with rooms' rates starting from US$500 per night. Nearby, there are also several typical local guesthouses with rooms' fares ranging from US$100 to US$200 per night.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Seychelles international airport (SEZ). Next hire a taxi.
There are also cheap shuttle buses on the island with a lot of routes. Keep in mind, that often you have to change bus in the capital city of
Victoria to get from one side of the island to another.
When to go [edit]
It is good to travel to Seychelles any time of the year. The nature is more beautiful in the rainy season from October to April, while the dry season will give you more sunny days.
