Baishawan beach

Baishawan (White Sand Bay) - is a beach in the northern Taiwan near Taipei. The beach is nice with light sand and trees, and not so overcrowded as Fulong. During the low tide you'll have to walk a bit to the depths, as the water becomes shallow. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are no hotels near the beach of Baishawan. The nearest hotels are located a few kilometers to the east - in Shimen district.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Taipei international airport (TPE). Next drive 20 km to the north by taxi or by bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the north of Taiwan is a period from September to October. The summer is a rainy season, while sea water is too cold during the winter half of the year.
