Baker Beach is a beach in San Francisco with a good view of the
Golden Gate bridge. The north end of the beach is popular among nudists. In general it is a good place, though it's not so beautiful as the best beaches in California. Shore and seabed: sand.
[edit]
Hotels [edit]
In the south end of the beach there are several hotels with room's fares starting from $100 per night.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
San Francisco international airport (SFO). Next hire a taxi or take a bus to the stop
Stilwell Rd (bus stop code #70012). Near Baker Beach there are two parkings, which are often busy during the weekends.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a holiday on Baker Beach is a warm period from July to September, when sea water is relatively warm. However, in San Francisco the water is always cold due to the northern current.
