Balding Bay beach

Balding Bay is the only nudist beach on the Magnetic island in Australia. This is also the most remoted beach of the island. However, there are always at least a few tourists. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

There are no hotels near the beach of Balding Bay. The nearest hotels are located at the Horseshoe Bay.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Townsville international airport (TSV). Next take a bus to the stop "Flinders St at Wickham Street" (routes 200, 201, 206).

From Townsville Breakwater marina take a ferry to Nelly Bay of the Magnetic island. Next take a bus #250 to the stop Horseshoe Bay Rd at The Forts and walk 2 km to the north along the mountain road to the beach of Radical Bay. Next walk another 600 meters along the mountain gorge.

The best time for a beach holiday in the Balding Bay is a dry season from April to November.
