Baldwin Beach Park

Baldwin is a surfer beach near the airport of Maui island in Hawaii. However, west end (Baby beach) and east end (Baldwin Cove) of the beach are good for swimmers. It is not so beautiful as western beaches of the island, but still this place is perfect in its wilderness. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Just to the north of Baldwin Beach, there are few hotels in the village of Paia with rooms' fares starting from $250 per night.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Honolulu international airport (HNL), next fly to Maui island airport - Kahului (OGG). There are also direct flights to Maui airport from USA and Canada. Next hire a taxi or just walk on your own for about 40 minutes. There is also large parking near the beach with a lot of free space.

When to go [edit]

In Hawaii, the best time for a pure beach holiday is a period from June to October, when sea water gets warm enough.

As for the surfing, it is better to choose winter half of the year, as the waves are stronger that time.
