Bamboo beach

Bamboo (Bamboo Beach Club) is a private beach on the north of Jamaica. It was a great place, when it was Reggae Beach. But as for now, it's dedicated to cruise ships passangers from Ocho Rios, - with a lot of sunbeds, dancers and crowds of elderly tourists. So this is just another soulless tourist attraction. The beach is beautiful, but entry into the water is mostly rocky with sharp corals. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

In Ocho Rios there are many hotels, but it doesn't matter anyway. Bamboo Beach is visited only by the passengers of cruise ships, and they don't need a hotel. All others can easily find a better beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Montego Bay international airport (MBJ) or fly to Kingston airport (KIN). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

You can sunbathe on the beaches of Jamaica during the whole year except for October, when it's the most rainy.
