Bamburi is the only public beach in Mombasa, Kenya. To be honest, it has different segments with
Jomo Kenyatta Public beach being the only real public area. It is also known among locals as
Pirates beach. The beach itself is nice, but incredible crowd kills all the beauty of this place. However, there are many cheap cafes, while sunbed is only half a dollar per day. It is better to come here during the weekdays, when there are no so many people. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
