Baratti beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Baratti is a beach in the heart of Etruscan Coast. It is a small protected bay - unlike most of the northern Tuscany. The bottom is bad - shallow, muddy and with frequent algae. Around there are great archaeological sites of the Etruscan town. Numerous pathways have detailed information stands. It's crowded during the high season, but you can always find pretty quiet areas. Shore and seabed: sand.
