Barkoukech beach

Barkoukech is a wild beach near Tabarka airport in Tunisia. However, there is a cafe and sometimes sunbeds rental during the summer time. This is a popular spot for van campers to spend a night on their way to Algeria. There is a long sandy coast to the right. But to the left, there are several sandy bays. However, these are also big enough. There is occasional trash ashore. Just walk a little to the side - until you find a more suitable beach area. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Near Barkoukech beach, you can only spend a night in your own tent. As for the hotels, these are located a little to the west - in Tabarka town. Rooms' fares range from US$50 to US$200 per night. However, all the expensive options are luxury villas. So this is rather budget destination.
