Barricata beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Barricata is a beach in the very south of Veneto region, Italy. The south end of the beach is a camping area. While the north end is almost wild, but still with sunbeds rental. The place is beautiful - with trees, pleasant sand and clear water. The main problem is that the sea is very shallow here - especially during the low tide. So this is more a beach for small children. In addition, there is often many algae coming from the sea - especially in August. Shore and seabed: sand.

Barricata Holiday Village is a good hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$100 per night. In fact, it is more like a luxury campsite. There are basic bungalows, as well as glamping units. So you should be careful when choosing a room. Since there is a change, that you'll get a tent :) The houses are located very close to each other. But it's like that almost everywhere in the Italian campsites.
