Beach #5 (Vijay Nagar) - is the most beautiful beach in Havelock island in the Andaman Islands. It's located near the villages of Kala Pathar and Vijay Nagar in the north-east of the island. At low tide the water is shallow, and it is hard to swim. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are several luxury hotels near the beach. Also you can find budget guest houses a little north of the beach.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Andaman Islands International Airport (IXZ). Next take one of the numerous ferries from Port Blair to Havelock Island. Usually it is difficult to buy tickets, as well as to get to the ferry. So try to buy tickets in advance (at the port, in a travel agency or in the hotel), and choose more expensive boat.

The best time in the island of Havelock is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
