Beihai Silver Beach

Beihai is a beach in the southwest of China. The beach itself is located to the south of the city center. So it's not overcrowded by Chinese standards. Strong low tides are not a real problem, since you can easily walk to the depth. This is a rather beautiful resort destination with good amenities, as well as with comfortable swimming in the ocean. Near Beihai beach, there is an excellent choice of hotels with room's fares ranging from US$40 to US$90 per night. The place is slightly noisy and crowded, but the spot is very positive anyway.

Fly to Beihai international airport (BHY). Next take a taxi. Or you may get by bus number 3 to the stop of 银滩.

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to the Silver Beach in Beihai are April and October-November. The main problem is that the summer is a rainy season (from May to September), while it is too cold in winter (from December to March).
