Belen beach

Belen is a beach on the border of Colon and Veraguas provinces, Panama. It is possible to get here by boat only. So there is no a living soul or sometimes just a few tourists. All available transportation options must be confirmed with your hotel in advance. The hotel may also offer boat tours along the Belém River. The beach is beautiful. However, its current condition depends on the weather. Sometimes there is a lot of algae - especially in the summer half of the year. So the beach is usually very depressing during these moments. How to get there [edit]

Fly to the major Panama international airport (PTY, Tocumen) or fly to secondary Panama international airport (BLB, Balboa). Next take a taxi or get by bus.

When to go [edit]

It is always rainy season on the Caribbean coast of Panama. However, relatively dry seasons are January, March and October.
