Bharatpur beach

Bharatpur - is a beach near the main pier of Neil island in Andaman Islands. The eastern part of the beach is beautiful, although it's not quite suitable for swimming at low tide. The western part of the beach is not interesting at all. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There are only few hotels near the beach. However, you can choose any hotel on the island as distances are not large.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Andaman Islands International Airport (IXZ). Next take one of the numerous ferries from Port Blair to Neil Island. Usually it is difficult to buy tickets, as well as to get to the ferry. So try to buy tickets in advance (at the port, in a travel agency or in the hotel), and choose more expensive boat. Man from the hotel will meet you near the pier.

The best time for relaxing on the Bharatpur beach is a dry season from November to April.
