Blanes beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Blanes is a popular beach town at the south of Costa Brava, Spain. You may often hear that, this is probably one of the best beach destination in the whole Catalonia. Well, it's not quite like that. There is some cozy feeling + palmed promenade, a lot of cafes and even Old town atop. But unfortunately the place is not good enough for children and older men. The main problem is that the water becomes very deep right near the coastline, while the sand (pebbles to be correct) hurts, when you try to walk. Also, there are often strong waves in the sea. It is worth to notice, that Blanes is always overcrowded in summer. So it's not quite clear, why you should choose it. Shore and seabed: pebble, sand.
