Blue Lagoon is the best beach in
Perhentian islands in Malaysia. Clear water, white sand, lush tropical vegetation and a small number of people - almost all the components of the perfect beach. The only disadvantage is the lack of palm trees. Also the beach is known as
Turtle Bay, because sometimes turtles come here. Shore and seabed: sand.
[edit]
Hotels [edit]
There are no hotels, cafes or shops on the beach. You can stay in any hotel on Big or Small island and sail here every day on the water taxi.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Kuala Lumpur airport, next fly to
Kota Bharu airport. Hire a taxi and get to the pier of
Kuala Besut town. Boat to Perhentian islands will go about 20 minutes.
Most of the coastline of the islands is impassable by walking. Therefore, connection between the beaches is possible only by boats, that sail anywhere in search of clients. You should take enough money for these costs.
When to go [edit]
From March to August. It's heavy raining other months.
