Bogmalo beach

Bogmalo is the nearest good beach to the airport of Goa. The planes fly often, but it's not a great problem. The place is clean with nice sand, the water is calm, and there are no many people. So this is an excellent choice to spend a night before your departure from the airport. But it makes no sense to stay here for a long time, as Goa may offer more beautiful and more authentic beaches. Bogmallo Beach Resort is a 5-star hotel with room's rates starting from $80. This is exact that high rise building in the east end the bay. The service is mediocre, and the only good thing is a beach. So it makes sense to think about other accomodation options (from US$20 per night) located nearby.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Goa international airport - Dabolim (GOI). Next hire a taxi or take a bus. Despite the small distance, it will be hard to walk from airport to the beach, since the passenger terminal is located on the far side of the runway.

The best time for a beach holiday in Bogmalo is a dry season from November to April.
