Horseshoe Bay being the best one. All of the beaches are almost empty, unlike some more famous beaches of the coast. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

There are just a few dozen of hotels in Bowen, but these are not very expensive and not overcrowded with tourists.
Rose Bay Resort has the best beach. You may also easily find a campsite near the beach.

Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) of Proserpine town. Next hire a taxi or take a bus.

The best time for a beach holiday in Bowen is a dry season from June to December.
