Britannia Bay beach

Britannia Bay is a beach on the Caribbean coast of Mustique island, Grenadines. The location is good, but it is filled with fishing boats most of time. So sunbathing and swimming is not very comfortable. The more important is that, this is the best place to anchor on the island. However, it is very expensive, while mooring conditions are below the average standards. There is also iconic Basil's Bar located near the water edge. The food is delicious, but the construction looks ugly. They also play loud music at night, thus disturbing catamarans' passengers. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

There are few villas located not far from the beach. But their guests will be more interested in pools and luxurious interiors, rather than some mediocre beach located nearby.

Fly to Saint Vincent international airport (SVD) or fly to Barbados international airport (BGI). Next fly to Mustique island airport (MQS).

The best time for a holiday on Britannia Bay beach is a dry period from December to May.
