Buck Island
Ultimate guide (March 2025)
Buck Island is a small uninhabited islet near the main Saint Croix island, US Virgin Islands. It is part of
Buck Island Reef National Monument. As one might expect, there is great snorkeling. Hiking around the island is good as well. As for a pure beach holiday, there's nothing interesting. Since the coastal scenery is rather mediocre. While sea water is just clear azure being quite the same as everywhere else in the Virgin Islands. Shore and seabed: rocks, sand.
