Burau Bay beach

Burau Bay is an excellent beach in the west of Langkawi island in Malaysia. Unfortunately, the best parts of the beach are dedicated to the expensive hotels. So you may meet some difficulties to get there. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Berjaya Langkawi Resort and Mutiara Burau Bay Beach Resort are the two luxury hotels on the beach. Hotels are not cheap, but worth the money. At the time of writing this article Mutiara Resort was closed for an indefinite period.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Langkawi International Airport (LGK). Next hire a taxi. There is no bus service to the Burau Bay.

The best is to walk to the beach via Mutiara Burau Bay Resort. So if you don't stay in this hotel, you will be able to get to the beach in the daytime only.

The best time to travel to the island of Langkawi is a dry season from January to April.
