The more romantic way is to get by land from Santa Marta. In this case, the bus will drop you off by the road, and next you'll have to walk through the jungle for about 1.5-2 hours.

Useful information [edit]
It is hard to purchase tickets to the Park of Tayrona, and these are rather expensive. You will have to wait a lot, and then you will be "registered" spending a lot of time again.
As for the service inside the park, it is very bad, while everything is overpriced by the local standards. It makes sense to take plain water with you, as well as some food that can be kept for a long time.
