Cala Nave is the best beach on the island of
Ventotene in Italy. This is a bay with dark volcanic sand, clear water and good view to the neighboring islands. There are many restaurants ashore, as well as a rental of sunbeds and umbrellas. The place is very popular, so it is always overcrowded. Shore and seabed: sand, pebble.

How to get there [edit]
Fly to Rome airports of
Fiumicino (FCO) or
Ciampino (CIA). Take a train to
Anzio,
Formia or to Naples, and next take a ferry to Ventotene island. Then just walk to the beach of Cala Nave.
