Cala Rossa beach

Cala Rossa is a beach on the small island of Favignana - near the
Sicily in Italy. The abandoned quarry looks like a decorations for the fantastic movie. Shoreline is not very comfortable, but the seabed is sandy with beautiful clear water. Shore and seabed: stones, sand.

Hotels [edit]
The nearest to the beach hotels are at about 10-minute walking distance. But if you agree to get by a taxi to the beach, Favignana port has much more hotels with better choice of restaurants and night life.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Trapani International Airport (TPS). Get to the port of Trapani by taxi. Next get by ferry to Favignana island. There are some direct boats to Cala Rossa beach in a summertime. But in most cases, ferries go to the main Favignana port, located a few kilometers from the beach.

The best time for a holiday in Favignana island is a summer half of the year.
