Calabash beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Calabash is a great beach in the south of
Grenada island being located not far from the airport. This is visually one of the best beaches on the island, but still it's not so good like the Caribbean coast. The main problem is dark sand. There is white sand as well, but only in the hotel's area being carefully fenced off :) The second problem is that the sea water is slightly muddy - like the mangrove bays. Shore and seabed: sand.
