Caldane is an isolated beach in the southeast of
Giglio island, Tuscany. The bay is small and beautiful with clear water. There is also a paid area. No cafe, nor shops are available, so you'll have to bring everything you need. Shore and seabed: sand.

There are no hotels near Caldane beach. The nearest hotels can be found a little to the north - around the port of Giglio.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Rome (airports of
Fiumicino-FCO or
Ciampino-CIA) or fly to
Pisa international airport (PSA). Take a train to the station of
Orbetello - Monte Argentario. Next get by bus to the stop of
P. S.Stefano Porto (routes 39/O, B/O, C/O) and take a ferry to Giglio island.
The beach of Caldane can be reached from the port either on foot (45 minutes walking along the coastal trail) or by boat (10 minutes per way). No taxi or bus transportation is available, as there is no any kind of road.

The best time for a beach holiday in Caldane is a warm period from July to September.
