Calibishie beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Calibishie is a perfect beach in the north of
Dominica. This is one of the few places on the island with a good coast - with palms and sand, and without strong waves. So, everything is quite decent by the Caribbean standards. The only problem is that, there is a lot of algae in the water. However, it is always possible to find a spot with comfortable swimming. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
In Calibishie, there is an excellent choice of hotels for every taste. But almost all of these are poorly presented in the Internet. However, tourism in Dominica is developing rapidly, so everything should be Ok soon.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Douglas–Charles airport (DOM) or fly to
Canefield airport (DCF). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.
However, public transport is very bad on the island, as well as a taxi service. So it is best to rent a car.
