Caminia is a popular beach in Calabria, Italy. There are beautiful mountains around, thus giving a feeling of something new after the flat beaches of the south. But keep in mind, that most of the coast has a pebble, making it painful to walk barefoot. Shore and seabed: pebble, sand.

Hotels [edit]
Unfortunately, there are no many hotels by the sea. Almost all accommodation options can be found on the hills - either in the southern Caminia village, or in the northern
Santa Maria del Mare Torrazzo. Rooms' fares start from US$60 per night.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF). Next take a train to the station of
Montepaone Montauro and hire a taxi. There is also a large parking lot near the beach of Caminia, but it is hard to find a free space during a daytime.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Spiaggia Caminia is a warm period in the summer half of the year.
