Campo del Mar beach

Campo del Mar is a beach in the eastern suburbs of Santa Fe, Honduras. It used to be a spot focused on cruise ship passengers. As for now, it is abandoned. But the beach is still quite decent. In general, this is a good place with some vibe of its former luxury. On the right, there is a village - also with good beach. Further away to the east, there is relatively large port city of Trujillo. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Villa Alessandro is a great guesthouse in the village. It is located not far from the beach. Probably, this is a good place near the sea to escape from crowds of tourists.

Fly to La Ceiba international airport (LCE). Next take a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Caribbean coast of Honduras is a dry season from March to August.
