Cannelle beach
Ultimate guide (January 2025)
Cannelle is the most popular beach of
Giglio island in Tuscany, being the nearest to port. Most of the coast is taken by paid sunbeds, while the free area is always overcrowded - even during the low season. There is no tree shadow, so it is best to take your own parasol. The sea is clear with smooth entry into the water and without waves. To the north and to the south, there are huge boulders, and the bottom is rocky with good snorkelling. Shore and seabed: sand.
