Cansaulim is an excellent wild beach in Central Goa. A little to the south, there is also
Arossim beach, but in fact all of this is the same coastline. There are no many tourists (unlike most of Goa), but a lot of palms ashore located about 100 meters from the water edge. That's why, everybody uses shacks' sunbeds. Some coastal areas are dangerous due to the underwater currents, so it is better to swim in the areas marked by flags. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Near the beach, there are several hotels with the room's fares starting from US$50, and a little further - at the road - some cheaper options from US$20 per night.
In the south end of Arossim beach, there is also five-star
Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa (from US$120). It is better to take breakfast only, since shacks (beach cafes in Goa) offer cheap and delicious meals right on the ocean shore.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Goa international airport - Dabolim (GOI). Next hire a taxi or take a bus. There is also Cansaulim Railway Station located not far from the beach, that is very convenient for those who like to travel by train.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in Arossim-Cansaulim is a dry period in the winter half of the year.
