Captiva are the islands in the west of Florida, mainly known as one of the best place in the US for the "second home". There are also many pretty secluded beaches. The islands were badly damaged by the hurricane in 2004, but everyting has been repaired many years ago. Shore and seabed: sand, shells.

South Seas Island Resort in the north of the island is the most famous Captiva hotel. In general, there are dozen of hotels in the island, - from quite expensive and up to very expensive.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Fort Myers International Airport (RSW). Next take a taxi to Sanibel island, and follow to Captiva island via the bridge called Blind Pass.
In order to get to the North island of Captiva, first get by a taxi to Pine Island, and next take a ferry to the
North Captiva Island. The service is called
Island Girl Ferry, and runs every two hours.
